Preparation
  1. Gather all the ingredients and equipment.
  2. In a saucepan, place the green beans in boiling, salted water.
  3. Cook until tender, as demonstrated.
  4. Drain, and shock in an ice bath. Remove when cold and drain.
  5. Melt the butter in a sauté pan. Plunge blanched beans into boiling water, drain, and add to sauté pan.
  6. Add the roasted garlic to the beans and heat thoroughly. Adjust the seasonings, and serve.
