Preparation
  1. Gather all the ingredients and equipment.
  2. Cut pineapple crosswise into ten ¾-inch (1.9-centimeter) thick slices.
  3. Stir together butter and brown sugar. Brush pineapple slices on both sides.
  4. Grill pineapple slices on an uncovered grill directly over medium coals for 6 to 8 minutes or until heated through. Turn once, and brush once or twice with butter mixture.
  5. To serve, cut pineapple slices in half. Serve warm with roasted meats like pâté.
