Preparation
  1. Gather all the ingredients and equipment.
  2. Place ½-inch of water in a saucepot. Place a bamboo steamer on top of the pot. Bring water to a boil. Make sure the water does not over-reduce.
  3. Place the vegetables in the steamer. Cover and steam for 2 - 3 minutes, or until done.
  4. Remove the vegetables, season and serve immediately or shock in an ice bath for later use.
